The body of research below is a sample of the results of AFDF’s work since 1978. It represents research in the categories of bycatch reduction, byproduct development, 100% utilization, gear modifications, energy efficiency, and mariculture development. One of AFDF’s objectives is to share the valuable information produced through its work with interested parties. To meet this objective, AFDF began scanning decades of original reports into Adobe PDF files. Many of the research reports are available below. However, some of AFDF’s past research and historical information is not online yet.
